We are working on single family seastead design that can have tension legs like a little oil platform. This makes it really stable in normal Caribbean waves. We live in Anguilla and would like to have our first prototypes here for testing. Ideally we would like to have sandy bottom locations in "Anguilla's territorial waters" or "Anguilla exclusive economic zone" that main island residents could not seas. This way we are not impacting anyone's view of a natural ocean. On the far side of some smaller islands, like Scrub or Dog, may be a reasonable way to hide. Are there also "over the horizon" locations? We will use mooring screws, so we need a sandy bottom. Our current installation method is limited to 100 feet. Are there any locations in international waters (so more than 200 nautical miles from any country) and within 2000 miles of Anguilla that are less than 100 feet deep and have sandy bottoms? What locations that fit our requirements? (give lat/lon for center of area and direction-distance from nearest country) How big are these locations? If we wanted to place seasteads on a 500 foot gid, how many seasteads could we locate at each location? How are wave heights at each location?
