I am interested in solar windows for a seastead design. It would be nice if people could have lots of view out of the seastead but we also want to make lots of solar power, so solar windows might be the answer. the seastead will be operating in the Caribbean where there is usually lots of sun, so if the solar window cuts the sun down 90% (or whatever) that is actually a good thing. How many watts per sq-meter do these have and how does that compare to normal solar? Are there marine rated versions of solar windows? How much do they cost per watt? How does this cost compare to buying a window and also buying a solar panel?
